All renewal comes from within.  You can find yourself a million miles away from home, and if your renewal hasn't begun within, you'll find yourself stepping into the same old actions and feeling the same old feelings you felt before.

How exactly do you feel?  Are you tired of life, bored, depressed?  What bothers you about yourself or any situation you are encountering?  Why does it bother you?  What would make your situation, your circumstances, YOU better?  Be as honest with yourself as possible when you answer these questions.

Let's look at a few things you can do each day to rev youreslf up if you are tired of life.

Begin each day with thanks and gratitude, just for being here.  Just for being able to see, walk, talk, taste, touch and smell.  A spirit of gratitude will knock out the gloomies in a second and set you up for a Universal blessing that you wouldn't believe.

Next, forgive yourself for any choices you made the day before that were not your best choices.  Every moment you get to choose who you really want to be.  Let go of any guilt and condemnation you may have surrounding "how could I have done this better, why didn't I do such and such,"  and just BE.  Just BE.  Become aware of who you are, where you are and how you are acting, reacting, interpreting various issues that arise before you.  Let go of all the surrounding noise, and just BE.

Third step, forgive anyone for any choices they made which may have affected you adversely.  Holding on to caustic, negative energy is like eating poisonous fruit.  Unforgiveness allows toxins and waste to accumulate and wreak havoc not only with your body, but with your spirit.

Give Kindness a try.   I was riding a crowded subway train home from work one day, eight months pregnant with my daughter and fat as a cow.  Fat and tired.  My legs felt like matchsticks that would break any moment.  No one, not one person offered me a seat which greatly upset me.  From that day forward I vowed that if I ever saw a pregnant, infirm or elderly person on a crowded subway, I would gladly give them my seat, and I’ve always kept that promise.

I’ve given my seat to dozens of people and each and every time I’ve done it, I’ve felt the joy which plain, simple kindness brings.  It made me feel good about myself.  It didn’t hurt, and I helped someone else.  Giving has a way of going around and paving the way for kindness and to return in some fashion to our lives.

Last, love and celebrate yourself.  Try it.  Let's be real.  If you don't love yourself, why should anyone else?  Look in the mirror and smile and see how your face just rejoices in the sight of you.  Love, in and of itself, renews, heals and transcends.  Instead of being tired of life, let yourself be a conduit for its transmission and you renew not only yourself, but others as well.
